Automotive Suspension Control Arm

The Automotive Suspension Control Arm transfers wheel forces to the vehicle body. It supports and guides the wheel assembly during operation. We use QT450-10 or ZG270-500 castings for these arms. Both materials have good damping properties and can absorb engine and road vibration effectively. We use low-pressure casting to reduce internal porosity and increase structural density. Our X-ray inspection checks the internal quality, and we only accept castings with porosity at grade 2 or below. This process helps ensure a reliable product.

Our machining center finishes the ball joint mounting hole, which requires high dimensional accuracy. We ream the hole to achieve a surface roughness of Ra 0.4. Every batch undergoes CMM inspection to verify spatial accuracy. We also apply electrophoretic coating to improve surface protection and appearance.
